Welcome to SpecOS (the “Service”). The Service is operated by domalec.com, which is affiliated with bertotools.com (hereafter collectively referred to as “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using operating_system.php, you acknowledge that you have read, understand, and agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and to comply with all applicable guidelines.

2.1 Information We Collect

We collect and process limited personal information that you provide directly when you:

• Create an account using a username and password (secured with a password hashing mechanism).
• Upload or manage files in our integrated file manager (these files are stored on our servers).

2.2 How We Use Your Information

We use your personal information, such as your username or any data you voluntarily provide, to:

• Verify your identity and manage access to your account using secure password hashing.
• Create and manage a unique subfolder within specosuserfiles/ for your project files.
• Provide the Dev Dashboard where you can create, edit, delete, and securely preview scripts or other files.

2.3 Data Storage & Security

Your files and any personal data are stored on our servers under specosuserfiles/. While we take commercially reasonable measures to protect your data, no system is entirely secure. You are encouraged to avoid storing highly sensitive or regulated information on this Service.

2.4 Third-Party Services

We do not rely on external OAuth providers in this updated version, so third-party data collection is minimal. However, any third-party scripts or resources you incorporate into your projects may have their own policies, for which we bear no responsibility.

2.5 Retention of Data

We retain user data as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services. If you wish to delete your account or files, please contact our support team. We may retain certain information if required by law or for security audits.

2.6 Children’s Privacy

The Service is not intended for users under 13 years of age (or under the age of majority in your jurisdiction). If you are a minor, you are not permitted to use this Service.

3. Terms of Service

3.1 Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and account. You agree not to share your password or account credentials with third parties. You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

3.2 User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Upload, store, or distribute any unlawful, harmful, or offensive content.
• Engage in any activity that violates applicable laws, regulations, or the rights of others.
• Attempt to access or modify other users’ data or the underlying server infrastructure.

3.3 Script Execution & File Management

The Service allows you to create, edit, and preview scripts in your personal subfolder. Scripts are executed in a separate process (“secure eval”) to mitigate security risks. Nevertheless, you assume responsibility for any script you run on the Service and any data or code you upload. We disclaim all liability for damages or data loss arising from user-generated scripts or other file operations.

3.4 Intellectual Property

All trademarks, logos, or other intellectual property associated with the Service are the property of their respective owners. You retain rights to the content you create or upload, except that you grant us a non-exclusive license to store and process your content for the purpose of providing the Service.

3.5 Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, domalec.com, bertotools.com, and any related affiliates shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, loss of data, or any loss of use arising out of or related to your use (or inability to use) the Service, including any associated code execution or file management features.

3.6 Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or if we determine it is necessary for any operational or security reason. Upon termination, your files may be removed from our servers.

4. Changes to This Agreement

We may revise this Privacy Policy & Terms of Service from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last Updated” date below. Your continued use of the Service following any such revision will signify your acceptance of the updated terms.
